Workspaces

Organize teams, data, and sending configuration for each business unit or environment.

What is a workspace?

A workspace is an isolated home for your data, settings, and team. Each workspace contains its own:

  • Contacts, templates, and campaigns
  • Delivery configuration and sending domains
  • Identity rules and custom fields
  • Team members and roles

Workspaces help you keep brands, regions, or environments separate and secure.

When to create another workspace

Create additional workspaces when you need to separate:

  • Different brands or business units
  • Regions with distinct compliance requirements
  • Client accounts (for agencies)
  • Environments (e.g., a staging workspace that stays in Sandbox)

Delivery modes

Workspaces support the following delivery modes:

  • Sandbox. Messages are simulated and not delivered to recipients.
  • Normal. Messages are delivered to recipients and counted toward your budget.
  • Disabled. Messages are blocked and not sent.

You can't switch your workspace delivery mode to Normal until your account email is verified and at least one sending domain is verified.

Switch from Sandbox to Normal (when ready)

Open Workspace Settings

From the Dashboard, go to Workspace Settings and open the Delivery tab.

Complete required verifications

  • Verify your account email address (look for the verification email from Leadpush).
  • Verify at least one sending domain and add a sending address.

Enable Normal delivery

Change the delivery mode from Sandbox to Normal, then save your changes.

Workspace Settings overview

Use the Workspace Settings page to configure how your workspace behaves:

  • Profile. Update workspace name and logo.
  • Delivery. Choose delivery mode and channel behavior.
  • Identity. Select the fields used to uniquely identify contacts.
  • Domains. Add and verify sending domains and create sending addresses.
  • Fields. Create custom fields to personalize content and segment contacts.
  • Team Members. Invite teammates and manage their roles and access.

Best practices

  • Keep new workspaces in Sandbox until you complete verifications and run test sends.
  • Use separate workspaces for production and staging/testing.
  • Verify at least one sending domain per workspace and use a monitored inbox for sending addresses.
  • Review team access regularly and assign the least-privileged role required.

Troubleshooting

  • Can't switch to Normal. Verify your account email and at least one sending domain; allow time for DNS propagation before retrying.
  • Domain won't verify. Check that DNS records match exactly, there are no conflicting records, and propagation has completed.
  • Invitations not received. Check spam/junk, confirm the email address, or resend the invite. See Invite Users for more tips.
