Multi-Factor Authentication

Passkeys

Add and manage passkeys so Leadpush can require a second verification step after password login.

Before you start

  • Password login remains your primary sign-in method.
  • MFA is optional and currently uses passkeys as the verification method.
  • You will need a device or password manager that supports passkeys.

Leadpush supports passkey MFA without replacing your existing email and password login.

Set up MFA with a passkey

Open Security settings

From the dashboard, go to Account Settings and then open Security.

Add your first passkey

Click Add passkey.

Confirm your password

Re-enter your current password when prompted so Leadpush can verify that this is really you.

Name the passkey

Give the passkey a recognizable label such as MacBook, iPhone, or 1Password.

Complete the passkey prompt

Follow your browser, device, or password manager prompt to create and save the passkey.

Verify MFA is enabled

After your first passkey is added, MFA is turned on for your account.

Sign in with MFA

Enter your email and password

Start login the same way you do today.

Complete the MFA check

If MFA is enabled, Leadpush will pause before redirecting you to the dashboard and ask you to verify with your passkey.

Optionally trust the browser

Select the Trust this browser option if you want to skip MFA on that browser for the next 30 days.

Manage your passkeys

Use the Security page to review the passkeys attached to your account. For each passkey you can:

  • See the display name you assigned to it
  • See when it was added
  • See when it was last used
  • Remove it if you no longer use that device or password manager

Add more than one passkey if you want a backup method. For example, register both your laptop and your phone, or your device plus your password manager.

Disable MFA

Open Security settings

Go back to Account Settings and open Security.

Confirm your password

Leadpush will ask you to re-enter your password before making the change.

Disable MFA

Click Disable MFA to turn off the second verification step for future logins.

Disabling MFA removes the requirement for the second step, but you can add or re-enable passkeys again later.

Troubleshooting

  • Browser is not offered as trusted. Trusting a browser is only available after a successful MFA verification.
  • You lost access to your passkeys. Contact an account admin or support so they can reset MFA on your account.
  • You only have one passkey and cannot remove it. Disable MFA first, or add a second passkey before removing the first one.
