Managing Newsletters

Create newsletters, organize them with tags, review status, and open the right send for editing or reporting.

The main Newsletters screen is the workspace-wide list for newsletter records. Use it when you need to create a new newsletter, find an existing one, review its performance at a glance, or reopen a send for setup or reporting.

Open the newsletters list

Go to Messaging -> Newsletters from the dashboard sidebar.

This opens the newsletter table for the current workspace.

Create a newsletter

Use the Newsletter button in the top-right corner to create a new record.

The create form includes:

  • Name
  • Description
  • Channel, which is currently Email
  • Tags

After a newsletter is created, you can open it and continue through the newsletter setup flow.

What the table shows

The newsletters list includes:

  • newsletter name and optional description
  • tags
  • delivered count
  • open rate
  • click rate
  • status
  • created date

Use this screen to compare newsletter performance and quickly locate the right send.

Filter and organize newsletters

From the list view you can:

  • search by newsletter name
  • filter by Tags
  • filter by Status
  • sort by creation date and several performance columns

This is useful when your workspace contains both in-progress and completed sends.

Common row actions

Each newsletter row includes actions to:

  • View
  • Edit
  • Delete

Use Edit when you need to change the newsletter name, description, channel, or tags. Use View to open the newsletter and continue setup or review reporting, depending on its status.

Newsletter status meanings

Leadpush uses newsletter status to show where a send is in its lifecycle.

  • pending means the newsletter exists but setup is still in progress
  • review means setup has been completed and the newsletter is ready for final review
  • scheduled means a future send time has been set
  • sending means message delivery is in progress
  • completed means sending is finished
  • failed means the send did not complete successfully
  • cancelled means the scheduled or planned send was cancelled

How the newsletter view changes by status

Newsletter records have two broad phases:

  • before send: you move through the setup wizard
  • after send starts or fails: you move into reporting tabs such as Overview, Metrics, Preview, Details, Messages, and Click Performance

This means the same newsletter record starts as a setup workflow and later becomes a reporting surface.

Best practices

  • Use clear names so the newsletter is easy to find later in reports.
  • Apply tags consistently if your team separates newsletters by team, campaign type, or region.
  • Review status before opening a record so you know whether you are entering setup or reporting.
  • Use the list metrics to identify which sends deserve a deeper review.
