Newsletter Reporting
Review performance, message activity, content details, and click results after a newsletter starts sending.
Once a newsletter reaches a post-send state such as sending, completed, or failed, the page switches from setup steps to reporting tabs.
Reporting tabs available after send starts
Leadpush exposes these newsletter tabs after sending begins:
- Overview
- Metrics
- Preview
- Details
- Messages
- Click Performance
The newsletter header also includes a date-range filter used by the reporting views.
Overview
The Overview tab gives a high-level summary of newsletter performance.
It includes:
- mini charts for total sent, opens, clicks, and bounces
- summary rates such as open rate, click rate, and bounce rate
- grouped statistics for general volume, opens, clicks, and error counts
Use this tab when you need the quickest overall read on how the send performed.
Metrics
The Metrics tab expands reporting into more visual summaries.
It includes:
- conversion count
- conversion rate
- donut-chart breakdowns for message volume, clicks, opens, and errors
Use this tab when you want a cleaner reporting view for outcome review rather than raw event investigation.
Preview
The Preview tab shows the rendered newsletter content.
Use it when you need to confirm exactly what recipients saw, especially after changes were made during composition or when teammates are auditing an A/B test result later.
Details
The Details tab captures the newsletter configuration and outcome context in one place.
It can include:
- A/B test settings and winner information
- conversion tracking settings
- event filters
- template or variant metadata
- template-level metrics when A/B testing is enabled
Use this tab when you need to explain how the newsletter was configured, not just how it performed.
Messages
The Messages tab shows newsletter-scoped message records rather than the full workspace-wide message log.
From here you can:
- search newsletter messages
- filter by provider, status, and event state
- expand individual messages to inspect message events
- follow recipient links back to contact records
Use the workspace-wide Messages page when you need investigation across all sends, not just one newsletter.
Click Performance
The Click Performance tab focuses on link-level results.
It shows:
- the URL
- unique click count
- total click count
Use this tab when you need to compare which links received the most engagement.
Best practices
- Start with Overview for a quick read, then move into Metrics or Messages depending on the question.
- Use Details when teammates need to verify what was configured before interpreting results.
- Use Click Performance when optimizing CTA placement or link strategy.
- Use the date-range filter before comparing sends across different windows of time.
