Segment Left Trigger
Start a campaign when a contact stops matching a selected segment.
The Segment Left Trigger starts a campaign when a contact leaves a selected segment.
When to use it
Use this trigger when leaving an audience should start a follow-up workflow.
Common examples:
- a contact no longer qualifies for a plan or lifecycle stage
- a person leaves a high-intent audience
- a contact stops matching a renewal or retention segment
Settings
- Segment: the segment the contact must leave.
- Frequency: controls whether the same contact can re-enter if they leave the segment again later.
Simulation and execution behavior
Simulations run with a selected sample contact. Real executions run when Leadpush detects that a contact no longer matches the configured segment.
Best practices
- Use this trigger when the transition out of a segment is meaningful.
- Prefer an If / Else branch when the campaign already started and only needs to check current segment membership.
- Review segment logic changes before publishing campaigns that depend on leaving a segment.
