Send Slack

Send an internal Slack notification when a contact reaches a workflow step.

The Send Slack node sends a Slack message through a configured Slack destination.

When to use it

Use this node when campaign activity should alert an internal team.

Common examples:

  • notify sales when a high-intent contact reaches a branch
  • alert support about a lifecycle or billing event
  • send operational notifications for important campaign checkpoints

Settings

  • Node name: optional display name shown on the workflow canvas.
  • Slack destination: the Slack destination or channel configuration.
  • Message template: the text or Block Kit content sent to Slack.
  • On Failure: controls whether the campaign execution fails or continues if Slack delivery fails.

Simulation and execution behavior

Simulations validate the workflow path and message setup. Real executions create Slack deliveries that can be monitored from the Slack integration delivery tools.

Best practices

  • Keep notifications actionable and avoid sending every routine workflow event.
  • Include contact and campaign context in the message.
  • Test the selected destination before publishing.
