Campaign Nodes
Send Email
Send an email from a campaign workflow and track the created message.
The Send Email node creates and sends an email message as part of a campaign execution.
When to use it
Use this node when the campaign needs to deliver content to the contact.
Common examples:
- welcome and onboarding emails
- lifecycle follow-ups
- re-engagement messages
- conversion or education sequences
Settings
- Node name: optional display name shown on the workflow canvas.
- From address: verified sending address used for the message.
- Subject: subject line for the campaign email.
- Content: the attached template or email content for this step.
- On Failure: controls whether the execution fails or continues if the send action fails.
Simulation and execution behavior
Simulations render the message for the selected sample contact and store simulated message output for review. Real executions create message records that can be reviewed from campaign messages, executions, and contact history.
If the node uses workflow data from earlier steps, such as a Fetch API Data response, run a simulation to confirm the final rendered content.
Best practices
- Keep content attached to the campaign step when it is campaign-specific.
- Use a descriptive node name when the campaign has multiple email steps.
- Test dynamic content with realistic sample contacts before publishing.
